Five years later, she also had to deal with the loss of her father, an important support in her life who encouraged her to follow her passion and develop her talent.

His father’s death was even more dramatic, being caused by a tragic accident. Later, Katey struggled with addiction to banned substances, including cocaine. After years, he managed to give up narcotics, but it wasn’t easy at all.

Katey Sagal’s life was marked by three marriages before she found true happiness. This moment of fulfillment came only at the age of 50. First, she was married to musician Freddie Beckmeier from 1978 to 1981, then to another musician, Fred Lombardo, from 1986 to 1989. Next comes Jack White, with whom she was married between 1993 and 2000, from this union resulting in two children – Sarah Grace (1994) and Jackson James (1996).

During the filming of one of her series, Katey suffered a painful loss – she lost a pregnancy in the eighth month. This tragedy had a devastating impact on her. Even so, her desire to become a mother did not disappear.

With her current husband, Kurt Sutter, she tried to fulfill this dream, but her past 50 years of age made it impossible. Thus, the actress turned to a surrogate mother, and two years later, Esme was born.
