Fatal accident! A woman didn’t stand a chance

A serious road accident took place in the evening of May 1, around 10:00 p.m.
A 48-year-old woman died after being hit by a car.

The tragic event took place on DN 64, in Pleșoiu, Olt, reports newsflux.ro.
“From the first checks, the police established the fact that a car driven by a 47-year-old man, from the Strejești commune, for reasons to be determined during the investigations, would have hit a pedestrian, respectively a woman, aged 48 years, from Pleșoiu commune.

Following the road accident, the woman died, and her body was transported to the Slatina County Emergency Hospital.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative“reports IPJ Olt, according to the quoted source.
The police are conducting investigations to establish exactly all the circumstances in which the event occurred.
