According to Realitatea PLUS sources, it is about one of the first 10 candidates on the list of AUR MEPs. Basically, we are talking about an extremely important candidate for the party, who would be withdrawn on the grounds that there are certain revelations that would be made about him, that a scandal is smoldering. Precisely for this reason, the management of AUR would have decided to withdraw him from this race, the quoted sources show.
As for the recent wave of departures – those from AUR have lost dozens of members in recent months, including candidates already announced in the public space – the party’s representatives said in a press release that it would be about “bunnies sent by PSD and PNL especially for to abolish this party” and that they were only “infiltrators sent by the Coalition to detonate the party”.
Even George Simion said that they were somehow trying to “destroy AUR” and that it would have been about candidates put there specifically by the governing coalition to destroy this party.
He also faces another problem. The lists of candidates signed by the central government, not by the territorial governments, as it should have been, which means that they risk being invalidated
