A 46-year-old woman and an 8-year-old child were injured in a road accident at the exit from the municipality of Sibiu towards Agnita. Traffic is difficult in the area.
The accident occurred on Ștefan cel Mare street, at the exit from Sibiu municipality.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving a car towards Agnita, a 49-year-old Sibiu turned left without securing himself and collided with a car driven from the opposite direction by a 47-year-old man from Ruja. The two passengers in the car driven from Agnita, a 46-year-old woman and an 8-year-old minor, both from Ruja, were transported to the hospital conscious,” said Elena Welter, spokesperson for IPJ SIbiu.
A SMURD crew with a doctor intervened urgently at the scene of the accident.
“The crew provided medical assistance to a 46-year-old woman who was transported to UPU Sibiu because she suffered a shoulder injury. A SAJ crew also intervened at the scene and provided care to an 8-year-old minor”, states Slt. Andreea Ștefan, ISU Sibiu spokesperson.
