Two occupants of a motorbike died on Saturday morning in a road accident.
According to plt. Radu Gabriel from the ISU Suceava, on Saturday, at around 2:00, an accident occurred on the outskirts of the village of Budeni in the city of Dolhasca, a scooter entering a footbridge.
At the scene of the event, two victims were identified, found in a state of unconsciousness.
Unfortunately, after the resuscitation protocol was completed, both individuals were pronounced dead.
According to the police investigation, on Saturday, around 2:00 a.m., a 23-year-old man from Lespezi commune, Iaşi county, was driving a Piaggio Beverly 500 motorcycle on DJ 208, in the Budeni township of Dolhasca, from Paşcani to Dolhasca. At one point, he lost control over the direction of travel, entered the opposite direction and collided with a concrete bridgehead, overturning outside the roadway.
Along with him, on the motorcycle, there was also a 34-year-old man from Dolhasca as a passenger.
As a result of the accident, the death of both the motorcycle driver and the passenger resulted, both deaths being ascertained by the medical personnel dispatched to the scene.
From the first checks, the driver of the motorcycle, who did not adapt the speed to the road conditions and entered the opposite direction, is guilty of the accident. (NB)
