Police had been searching Oxfordshire after a man went missing in the night.

Daniel, whose surname was not provided by Thames Valley Police, went missing from Henley on Wednesday night.

The 56-year-old was described as being approximately 5ft 11ins tall and of large build.

Officers also noted that the missing man often frequents Reading.

The force released a photograph of Daniel across their social media platforms as part of an appeal to the public for help locating him.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Daniel? The 56-year-old man went missing from Henley last night.

“Daniel is around 5ft 11ins tall, of large build and also frequents Reading.

“If you see him, call 999, quoting reference 300 of today (Thursday, April 25).”

But Thames Valley Police confirmed shortly before 11.30am on Thursday that Daniel has been found.

The force thanked the public for their assistance with the search.
