Huge danger in Slănic, in Prahova county. A street simply collapsed, and huge craters appeared in the asphalt. The biggest risk is that the homes of hundreds of people nearby will be destroyed, if the surge continues, informs Digi24.

The locals are terrified and fear that the surprise will reach the blocks. The distance from the buildings, says the city councilor, is approximately 40-60 meters, and the cracks continue to expand. A team of specialists from Bucharest will also arrive in Slănic Prahova.

“Considering the emergency situation produced in the town of Slănic in Prahova county, generated by the subsidence of the land, followed by the formation of a crater with a depth of approximately 2 m on an area of ​​over 60 square meters, at the level of the MAI there was an analysis by that the Secretary of State, head of the DSU, Dr. Raed Arafat, ordered a team of DSU and IGSU personnel to be sent to the site, to be supplemented as soon as possible with construction and mining specialists. At the same time, the measure was ordered to evacuate people in the vicinity or in the affected area until all checks have been carried out by specialists in the field”DSU representatives sent.

Most likely, the surprise occurred due to the salt deposits located underground, in that area.
