The weather will be colder today, compared to the previous day, the Siberian meteorologists say in today’s forecast.

“The sky will be cloudy during the day and will gradually clear at night. On extended areas, there will be rains that will be especially torrential, accompanied by isolated electrical discharges. In the mountains the precipitation will be mixed, predominantly in the form of rain at low altitudes and especially in the form of sleet and snow in the higher areas. In limited areas, water quantities will exceed 15 l/m2. The wind will blow weak and moderate, with temporary intensifications, but also associated with showers, with speeds in general of 45-55 km/h, and in the mountains with speeds in general of 70-80 km/h. The maximum temperatures will fall between 9 and 11 degrees, and the minimum between 3 and 6 degrees”, the forecast states.

Yesterday, at 09:00, the snow layer present only in the mountain area, measured 80 cm at Bâlea Lac.

In the municipality of Sibiu today it will be between 3 and 9 degrees Celsius, in Dumbrăveni, between 4 and 11 degrees, in Păltiniș, between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius, and in Bâlea Lac, between -4 and one degree Celsius.
