Today, at the Buzau County Museum, the Regional Youth Resource Center was launched.
A unique partnership was created between the Buzău Agency of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) and the County Museum, an institution subordinate to the County Council. The purpose of this partnership is to establish a Regional Youth Resource Center in Buzău, where programs can be organized to develop young people’s knowledge in the economic-financial field. “That component of financial education for young people, in my opinion, constitutes the foundation brick of any search for financial and economic fulfillment of every young person”, said the director of the County Museum, Daniel Costache, on the occasion of the launch of the regional center. According to the same source, a series of meetings and activities aimed at building will take place within the center “paths to stay home”. This, says the director of the County Museum, will mean “a complete and complex education to which any young person from Buzău will have access in order to develop culturally, financially and economically, in relation to the opportunities offered by Buzău county and the factors involved in the program”.
BNR representatives convey that the center will have the role of developing young people’s financial knowledge and familiarizing them with important notions of promoting a business.
The launch was also attended by the president of the County Council, Petre Emanoil Neagu, the general school inspector Daniela Palcău and Irina Ţîrdea, manager of tourist destinations in the UNESCO Geopark Buzău County.
