Accident on DN 1, at Azuga! A car overturned on the road

A road accident occurred on Wednesday morning, on DN 1, within the radius of Azuga. A car overturned on the road.

The military firefighters were requested to intervene in an accident that took place on DN 1, within the radius of Azuga.

According to the Prahova County Police Inspectorate, a person called 112 and announced that a car overturned on the road.

Military firefighters from the Sinaia Detachment intervened at the scene, who acted to ensure specific fire prevention measures and provide emergency medical assistance in the event of a road accident.

Thus, 7 military firefighters with a fire truck and an SMURD ambulance were mobilized to the scene.

Only the driver was on board the car. The driver was assisted at the scene, but refused transport to the hospital.

“The road accident resulted in material damage. The 74-year-old driver did not require transportation to the hospital in order to receive specialized medical care”, stated IPJ Prahova.

The driver was tested with the breathalyzer and the result was 0. According to IPJ Prahova, road traffic is difficult in the area.
