Blackview BL9000 Pro is now official, the rugged phone that integrates the latest FLIR thermal imaging camera

Blackview has focused in recent years on rugged phones, managing to bring special functionality to these devices. The newest example is Blackview BL9000 Pro which brings a new generation FLIR thermal imaging camera. It is the highest resolution thermal imaging camera on the market. We have all the details below.

We start of course by talking about the room with Thermal Imagers integrated here, more precisely FLIR Lepton 3.5, which has a resolution of 160×120, which is 4x higher than the previous generation, so it will deliver much sharper images. It also includes the exclusive MyFLIR Pro app and supports the Teledyne FLIR Mobile SDK. The camera offers temperature alerts, multi-point analysis, and the thermal sensitivity range is between -10 degrees and 400 degrees Celsius.

We have on board an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, 512 GB of flash storage and up to 36 GB of RAM with the virtual RAM function activated. We also get 120W wired charging for the huge 8800 mAh battery, as well as Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The Blackview BL9000 Pro runs Android 14 and thus brings new functionalities at the UI level.

The phone also boasts a 50 megapixel selfie camera, and on the back we have a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 main camera, plus Harman Kardon stereo speakers with Harman AudioEFX sound. Of course, we also have military certification MIL-SPEC 810H, IP68 + IP69K, for resistance to shocks, extreme temperatures, dust, water and drops.

For the end, I left the screen, a generous 6.78-inch diagonal panel, which offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, plus Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Dedicated reading modes can be activated for eye health at night. Regarding the price, starting May 6th, the price is only $429.99.
