KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Holston Medical Group has announced April Osborne, FNP, has joined its team of providers.
A media release from HMG states Osborne will provide care at both HMG Urgent Care Center at Medical Plaza, 105 W Stone Drive, Suite 1F, Kingsport, Tenn., and HMG Urgent Care at Bristol, 350 Steeles Rd., Suite 1, Bristol, Tenn.
Osborne has experience providing acute care in emergency departments and enjoys fast-paced settings like HMG Urgent Care, which treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries that require quick medical attention.
“Using my background skills in emergency medicine, I am excited to transition into the urgent care setting to ensure patients get timely and convenient access to the best care possible,” Osborne said. “With state-of-the-art labs and x- rays on site, I can support all my patients’ concerns, educate them, and ensure their care is affordable with shorter wait times.”

HMG says Osborne embodies the organization’s mission to provide lower-cost, quality medical care that exceeds patients’ expectations and improves health outcomes in the community.
“I have a passionate person. And having a career that allows me to care for my patients promptly in that manner is very rewarding,” she said.
Osborne received her Master of Science degree in nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner at Carson-Newman University, Jefferson City, Tenn., and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise.
In her off time, Osborne said she enjoys spending time with her husband and two Goldendoodles. She enjoys lifting weights with her husband and she loves to travel.
