This morning of April 30, 2024, at around 08:00, Băbeni city policemen from the Vâlcea County Police Inspectorate, firefighters and ambulances intervened in the event of a road accident on National Road 64, at km 99 + 550 m, resulting in the injury of two individuals. From the first checks carried out, it emerged that there had been a collision between three cars.
“As a result of the impact, two people were injured, namely a 36-year-old woman from the locality and a 55-year-old man from the municipality of Râmnicu Vâlcea, both of whom were transported to the hospital for medical care. The drivers were tested with the breathalyzer, the results were negative. Investigations are being continued by the police to establish the exact circumstances in which the event occurred”announced IPJ Vâlcea.
