The China-SCO Urgent Care Center has been established in the Chinese capital, as reported by
Xinhua News Agencya partner of TV BRICS.

The institution is based at Peking University People’s Hospital as an international platform for academic exchanges between Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in the field of emergency medical care. The center’s staff plan to regularly organize academic events, including scientific conferences, seminars and reciprocal visits.

According to Guo Yanhong, head of the National Health Commission’s medical emergency department, the establishment of the center aims to promote contacts and practical cooperation between China and SCO member countries in emergency medicine. The facility will help Chinese doctors improve their skills in providing care in emergency situations.


Wang Junhead of Peking University People’s Hospital, said the center will not only be a link for sharing medical resources, but also a bridge for strengthening medical and health cooperation between SCO member states.
