The AUR Government Program includes houses for 1 leu, a sovereign fund on the Dragnea model, highways made by Romanians and fun like in Dubai on the Black Sea. The program guaranteed by George Simion is full of populist-nationalist provisions that have nothing to do with reality.

George Simion and AUR also have a Government Program, which they never talked about. In it you will find an ideal world, with tax reductions, money without mercy for mothers, the elderly, young married people, with Romanians happy to return home and roads that furrow the country, even if it is not shown where the money will be taken from.

Rather, they will use their own funds, given that Simion and AUR are at war with bureaucrats from Brussels, with Ursula von der Leyen (who has become AUR’s number 1 enemy) and the “globalists”.

AUR government program: houses for 1 leu, sovereign fund on the Dragnea model, highways built by Romanians

Instead, there is a nationalist streak running through the AUR Government Program. Nationalism is mixed with the desire for huge sums of money to be given to the bosses of AUR.

AUR wants the creation of a sovereign fund from which further investments can be made, the industry to be Romanian (it is not said with what money you renovate it), and the roads to be built by Romanians (it is not clear where Romanian companies are coming from, when we see that ” the only one” Umbrarescu started to miss by stretching himself more than his workforce allows).

AUR was inspired by PSD

“We are establishing a national program within which natural resources will be processed (primary, secondary, tertiary), such as minerals, water, oil, gas, gold and rare metals from the underground, as well as forests, plants and other elements that are part from the national wealth”, writes AUR.

As billions of dollars are needed to extract / process wealth, AUR has also found the money. Details HERE

“The financial resource produced by each individual wealth will be highlighted publicly, day by day, as part of the Sovereign Investment Fund, following the Norwegian model. The Sovereign Investment Fund will be responsible for managing Romania’s natural resources, placing the collected sums in low-risk investments outside the country, covering the pension fund deficit from the earnings obtained and investments in key areas of national interest (energy, steel, metallurgy, etc. ).

The Sovereign Investment Fund will be organized in the form of a state fund that can be capitalized from Romanian taxpayers’ money, allowing them to become shareholders”, writes AUR.

Dragnea had the same speech in 2018:

Liviu Dragnea argued that the establishment of the Sovereign Development and Investment Fund (FSDI) will help to develop the large infrastructure and reindustrialize Romania, invest in agriculture, generate many jobs and contribute to the increase of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). It’s a sign that Simion likes money just like Liviu Dragnea.

Then, AUR moves on to nationalizations:

“The majority shares of OMV-Petrom and other strategic companies will be recovered gradually, through a fair compensation, after the fulfillment of all contractual obligations, including those for sale, will be verified”, Simion’s economists also write.

AUR cuts almost nothing for special pensions. They say: “Special pensions paid with cumulative monthly incomes higher than the salary of the president of the country, the part that exceeds the salary of the president and that is not based on contribution will be taxed with 90%”.

Iohannis has a gross salary of 24,000 lei. The average special pension is, in the judiciary, 20,000 lei net, but lower if we eliminate the contribution part. The cut in special pensions will be, in the end, small.

AUR wants to ban some exports

As in the time of sad memory, the export of some resources will be stopped, and the processing of raw materials will be done by working people. Industries that are dust and powder will become Romania’s engine again, although it is not said how.

“The petrochemical, iron and steel industries, producing construction materials, means of transport, agricultural and industrial machinery will benefit from tax facilities, while the export of some resources will be temporarily prohibited, and the processing of raw materials will be mandatory”, writes AUR. Although this is not the job of the state, AUR is committed to: “We are creating new banks – such as the Development Bank, the Agricultural Bank and the Romanian Housing and Building Consolidation Bank, to ensure crediting of domestic businesses and the population”.

And then, “We extend CEC Bank to the Romanian diaspora communities to offer financing to Romanians who want to open stores and warehouses with Romanian products”.

Who has a large family, buys a car with interest paid in GOLD

“We grant loans with subsidized interest of up to 10,000 euros for the purchase of a new vehicle to families with three or more minor children”, the AUR Government Program states. Details HERE

Regarding education, “we encourage the increase of the number of students by 50% in the next 10 years, especially in the fields where there is a lack of specialists on the domestic market”. How? Not said. Why? Given that many private universities are still diploma mills.

In terms of building roads, AUR wants to impose Romanian builders.

“We carry out unfinished highway projects (Giurgiu-Bucuresti-Suceava-Cernauti, respectively Barlad-Chisinau, Iasi-Cluj, Brasov-Ploiesti, Pitesti-Sibiu, Satu Mare-Botosani) with Romanian builders, independently or through associations with foreign consortia” , says AUR.

Apart from Pitesti-Sibiu where work is being done, for the others there is not even a feasibility study. And without European funds (the EU is the enemy of AUR) they will never be done.

AUR, champions of trassim, wants to remove politics from the administration

“We are depoliticizing the local and central public administration”, writes AUR. Newsweek offered a last example, yesterday, when a political route was imposed by George Simion at the Piatra Neamt town hall. The local AUR branch resigned in protest.

Otherwise, Simion continues his populism: “We are re-introducing the requirement that prefects and other categories of officials do not have political affiliation”. Given that it has almost no candidates who have not been through numerous other parties.

If they don’t like it so much in the EU, AUR would like Romania to be like in Dubai: “We support the creation of artificial islands and peninsulas by accepting private investments in the Black Sea area (like in Dubai)”, says AUR in the chapter tourism.

And if you move to the country, AUR will give the houses to other people for free. This provides for the “Implementation of the “Houses for 1 leu” Program for young people from Romania and Romanians from the diaspora who want to return to the country”. (Mara Ion)
