Eight people were injured in a road accident on DN2-E85 between a car and a passenger minibus. From the first data, the car driver would have gotten behind the wheel after consuming alcoholic beverages.

UPDATE – According to IPJ Vrancea, the Road Service police were alerted by calling 112 regarding the fact that, at the intersection of DJ 205 R Coteşti with DN2 E 85, a collision occurred between a car and a passenger minibus. According to the data from the call, one person from the car and six passengers from the minibus suffered injuries.

The eighth victim, the driver of the car, was tested with the breathalyzer, the result being 0.37 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. At this moment, he is in the hospital, where his biological samples will be collected, in order to establish his blood alcohol level.

According to ISU Vrancea, the Focşani Fire Department intervened with the SMURD module and an intervention vehicle. The minibus was carrying 13 passengers along with the driver and 3 other people with minor injuries received medical attention on the spot.
