The President of the Republican Party confirms that he held discussions with Alin Nica to support her candidacy for the headship of CJ Timiș. Marian Cucșa says that he set some conditions.
“I had discussions with Alin Nica, whom I have known since he was the mayor of Dudeștii Noi. I thought we could discuss Timiș and Timișoara, provided he would not make any alliance with Fritz’s neo-Marxists and globalists or any intention of negotiation. We are on the sovereignist side and promote traditional principles and values: the traditional Christian family, individual freedom. (…) And if Alin Nica considers himself a liberal as he says, he has no way of associating himself with the globalists. I thought it was normal to talk to him from the point of view of values; further we will see how things will go. It was a discussion of groping, of the intention of a possible collaboration.”said Marian Cucșa, the president of the Republican Party.
Regarding the local elections, George Simion, the president of AUR, invoked a boycott strategy which he explained as follows: “It is possible that we will not put up candidates for mayors or county councils in some places, if the elections are in a single round, with joint PSD-PNL lists. (…) PNL is the annex of PSD in many counties, not all. (…) Mr. Alin Nica is being closely courted by my colleague from the Republican Party, Marian Cucșa, and he always has an open door in AUR Alliance as long as he completely disassociates himself from Timișoara City Hall through Mr. Fritz. Let’s see if it works or not.”, said George Simion at Realitatea Plus.
As for the candidate for Timișoara City Hall, “we are interested in the people of Timisoara having a real alternative, not choosing between a disastrous past and an even more disastrous present”Cucșa also said. “We are interested so that the people of Timisoara no longer have to choose between coughing and stabbing. The AUR candidate will be the candidate of the people of Timisoara. It will be a big surprise. I didn’t have any kind of discussion with Cosmin Tabara, I know he’s still in Japan.”concluded the president of the Republicans.
