The municipal organization of the AUR continues to attract new members within the party. Thus, after the co-optation of former vice-mayor Marian Murariu, starting today a teacher and two economists joined the organization.
In a press conference held this morning at the party’s headquarters, Cătălin Silegeanu, the AUR candidate for the Botoșani mayor’s office, introduced professor Marian Voinescu and economists Gorgan Ovidiu and Baur Aloise.
Marian Voinescu is a teacher at school number 16, having graduated from the Pedagogical High School in 2001, having university and postgraduate studies. He is the post holder from 2020 with teaching degree 1.”I joined the AUR team out of conviction, over a year ago, seeing what was happening in civil society. I think I did a great thing, I met a wonderful team. ” said the professor, who will occupy the 2nd position on the list of councilors in the June 9 elections.
Gorgan Ovidiu, 39 years old, is an economist by profession and flirted with politics in the period 2012-2014. “I have been activating the public administration and institutions that run and implement projects with European funds for 16 years. I have adequate experience and training to cope on the public stage. I am convinced that we young people, people of perspective, must get involved in the development of the local community. I joined the AUR Botoșani team because I found a team of energetic people here.” said the economist. He will occupy the 3rd position on the list of councilors in the June 9 elections.
Baur Aloise is also an economist, former civil servant for 32 years, civil servant with executive and management function, former head of the customs office.”I have a great managerial experience in the public sector. I joined Mr. Silegeanu’s team with whom we will implement the projects we will do. I am currently working privately” said Baur Aloisie, who will occupy the 4th position on the list of councilors from June 9.
