A new shock in the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR): the candidate for the District 6 City Hall, Valentin Florea, announced on Friday that he is resigning from the party and leaving the AUR without a candidate for the City Hall led by Ciprian Ciucu (PNL) for 4 years.
Vaentin Florea explained the reasons for his resignation from AUR through a large, detailed message posted on Facebook. From one end to the other, Florea addresses the president of the party, George Simion, by the appellative “Trash”.
The accusations brought by Valentin Florea to George Simion are terrible. The resigner also suggests that the AUR leader collects money for candidacies.
Florea says that in order to finance the organization AUR Sector 6 in the last three years, he sold two of his apartments and spent a total of around 130,000 euros. The central leadership has not helped him at all, although he receives huge sums from the state in the form of subsidy for the functioning of the party.

The exceptional speeches of Mr. Lavric in the Romanian Parliament, the conduct and ability of Claudiu, the protest of December 21, 2021, the tricolor blood of Tănăsa, the pillars that really exist among the AUR members, the beautiful state of Romania… I said that it is not true, that after the CDR of ’96 comes a party pulled by its locomotive, which seemed to be a man loving the Country – aka Gunoiu’ – to change mentalities, to change Romania for the better. Illusions…
In the historic year 2024, everything is changed. Devils replaced ideals, money covered principles, the mix-up polarized the party into hundreds of mini-camps. Broken organizations, good people, soulful, capable, beautiful… disappointed by Garbage.
For three years, no one asked me if we needed anything in the sector. As an organization, of course.
Rents, utilities, shares, coaches, vests, t-shirts, caps, summer camp, printer subscription, coffees, waters, juices, meals, gas, headquarters renovation, furniture, laptops and many other payments.
130,000 euros at the first call, according to some calculations that I have already put in my notes. Two apartments sold, that it is difficult to do politics without money. And I felt that sacrifices were needed.
The center did not help us with even one lei. That they do not enter into subsidies, they do it differently.
