This report only includes the number of casualties within the Russian military, as the number of personnel killed within Russian private military companies, such as Wagner, is unclear.

Also, British estimates say Russia lost more than 10,000 armored vehicles including nearly 3,000 battle tanks, 109 planes, 136 helicopters, 346 unmanned aerial vehicles, 23 ships and more than 1,500 artillery systems.

The British Ministry of Defense estimates are not far off from those of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, which estimates that the Russian military has lost more than 465,000 soldiers in Ukraine.

Russia has lost 466,150 servicemen in Ukraine since the start of the large-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on April 28, quoted by the Kyiv Independent.

This tally includes 1,096 losses that occurred in the last day alone.

According to the report, Russia also lost 7,279 tanks, 13,991 armored fighting vehicles, 16,065 vehicles and fuel tanks, 11,948 artillery systems, 1,050 multiple missile launch systems, 776 air defense systems , 348 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 26 ships and boats and one submarine.
