Brasov Airport. Five times more traffic is estimated

Draft decision on the approval of the amendment to the Regulation of Organization and Operation of the Autonomous Authority “Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport”.
Draft decision regarding the updating of the inventory value of immovable assets, given under the administration of the Autonomous Administration “Brașov-Ghimbav RA International Airport” and the approval of the conclusion of an addendum to the administration contract no. 6302/26585/12.09.2022 concluded between UAT Brașov County and the Autonomous Region “Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport”.
Draft decision regarding the Revenue and Expenditure Budget of the Autonomous Authority “Brașov-Ghimbav International Airport” for the year 2024.
Draft decision regarding the approval of the modification of the organization chart and the state of functions for the Autonomous Region “Brasov-Ghimbav International Airport”.
Regarding the income and expenses budget (BVC), the directorate estimates total expenses and income in an equal amount – 47,823,540 lei.
The largest part of the revenues, respectively 38,913,540 lei, will be provided from the budget of Braşov County, the difference of 8,910,000 lei will be provided from own sources.
The biggest expenses in 2024 will be those with human resources, for which the sum of 12,328,460 lei was allocated.
A considerable amount, namely 10,598,150 lei can be found in the chapter “Expenses regarding services performed by third parties”, and the amount of 4,708,200 lei is allocated for investments.
In the documentation related to the draft decision, it is shown that this year a total number of 449,169 passengers is estimated.
Considering that the 100,000th passenger was registered on March 10, the estimate seems very optimistic, but Todorică Şerban, president of CJ Brașov, says that the figures are given by specialists.
