At 11:10, the firefighters were informed about the occurrence of a road accident on the Roman-Est bypass in the Roman municipality. Three fire crews went to the scene of the request with a fire truck with extrication mode and two SMURD ambulances (TIM and EPA) from the Romanian Detachment and a crew with an ambulance from the SAJ.
Two cars with three people were involved in the road accident. All people self-evacuated until the arrival of the intervention forces.
Two men, aged 46 and 68, the drivers of the two cars (aware and cooperating) received medical care from the SMURD crews, later being transported to the Roman CPU.
A woman, a passenger in one of the cars involved, received medical attention from the SAJ crew, refusing transport to the hospital.
Firefighters also acted to ensure fire prevention and extinguishing measures and to clear the roadway of the elements resulting from the road event.
