A road event took place today, March 28, on the ring road of Roman municipality. The accident was announced by calling the single emergency number 112, registered in the ISU Neamț dispatch center around 11:10. Three fire crews went to the scene of the request with a special fire truck with extrication mode and two SMURD ambulances from the Romanian Detachment, plus a crew from the Neamț Ambulance.
At the scene, it was found that two cars were involved, in which there were three people, all of whom were evacuated until the intervention forces arrived. “Two men, aged 46 and 68, the drivers of the two cars (aware and cooperating) received medical care from the SMURD crews, later being transported to the Roman CPU. A woman, a passenger in one of the cars involved, received medical attention from the SAJ crew, refusing transport to the hospital“, according to ISU Neamt.
Firefighters also acted to ensure fire prevention and extinguishing measures and to clear the roadway. The traffic police are to establish the causes and conditions in which the accident occurred.
