Collapsed Baltimore bridge: Bodies of two workers recovered from water
Col. Roland L. Butler Jr. said divers found a red pickup truck underwater. “Divers recovered two victims of this tragedy trapped in the vehicle,” Butler said, according to CNN.
He specified that the Maryland state police notified the families of those found. It is about two men, one from Mexico and one from Guatemala.
Butler Jr. confirmed that both men worked for the construction company. One of them was identified by the driver’s license in his pocket and the other by fingerprints, he said.
A cargo ship collided with the four-lane bridge in the American port of Baltimore on Tuesday morning. The ship lost its propulsion, issued an emergency call and tried to drop anchor, the investigators announced.
