Recently, there have been rumors that Samsung, in collaboration with Google, is developing new artificial intelligence (AI) features for the smartphone line. According to the latest reports, the next version of the Android interface, One UI 6.1.1, will include a functional innovation called “video AI”.
However, the exact details about this feature are still unclear, and at this point it is not known exactly what it will entail or how it will work.
Speculations suggest that this feature could either be AI-based generative video creation enabled by prompts, or an improvement in the quality of video footage directly on the device using AI technology, according to GSM Arena.
One UI 6.1.1 could be presented at the Unpacked event
One UI 6.1.1 is expected to be unveiled at the Unpacked event in July, along with the launch of the new models. This update comes after One UI 6.1 was released on the Galaxy S24 line of devices at the previous Unpacked event.
The event is expected to unveil the company’s latest innovations in foldable devices, including the new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 models, which are rumored to include an Ultra variant.
The launch of the new series of smart watches Galaxy Watch 7 and the innovative Galaxy Ring is also planned. Speculations suggest that Samsung could also introduce new models of in-ear headphones, as well as the Galaxy S24 FE smartphone.
