Two cars collided on DN 1, near Halta Veștem. A 54-year-old man was injured.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving a car towards Vâlcea, a 24-year-old man from Avrig, due to not keeping the safety distance, collided with the car driven in front of him by a foreign citizen, aged 41”, said Elena Welter, IPJ Sibiu spokesperson.
As a result of the collision, a 54-year-old man, from the hit tourism, suffered bodily injuries.
“A SMURD crew intervened urgently at a road accident on DN 1 in the area of the town of Veștem. The crew treated a 54-year-old man who suffered a hand injury. He was transported to UPU Sibiu conscious”, says Slt. Andreea Ștefan, ISU Sibiu spokesperson.
At this time, traffic is difficult on DN1 in the area where the accident occurred.
