Cristi was close to death five years ago, when he fell from the scaffolding while renovating the ISU Gorj headquarters. The man, who was in a deep coma, says that even after so many years justice was not done, on the contrary, he was also considered guilty.

Cristi says that he was already working for a few months at the company that in October 2019 was in charge of the renovation of the ISU Gorj headquarters. The man worked illegally, together with other colleagues. When he fell from the unsafe scaffolding, Cristi gave a colleague a bucket of material when he fell.

“I was working for a company that was renovating the headquarters of ISU Gorj. I was at the headquarters. I was at the time when the plaster was being applied on the outside of the building, because it had already been plastered and it was 5.40 pm and my colleague asked me to give him some material from a bucket. I lifted the bucket, slipped and woke up in Floreasca. I can’t tell you more. I had been working since July 23, 2019. The accident happened on October 18, 2019. I, and other colleagues, were in the black too,” said Cristi, at Acces Direct.

At the investigation, it would have been cut from the height from which the man fell

Cristi says that he was shocked when he saw that fewer meters were passed from which he fell, so that the height of four meters was passed, when it was seven meters.

“Initially it was on the second level of the scaffolding, but as the ground was not level, I thought it was another five or six metres. After the investigation, he started cutting meters and reached four meters,” the man said.
