Spectacular draw between FCSB and Sepsi! Florinel Coman left the field injured

In round number 6 of the Superleague play-off, Sepsi and FCSB ended in a tie, score 2-2.

The duel at Sfântu Gheorghe was a spectacular one, from the first minute of the game Octavian Popescu missed a great opportunity to give FCSB the advantage. Covasnen responded through Alimi, whose shot sent the ball very close to Târnovanu’s goal.

The action moved extremely quickly to the other box, Alexandru Băluță only hitting the bar of Niczuly’s goal.

However, the opening score came quite early, in the 9th minute, after a ball recovered in the last third by Olaru. The captain of the red-blues passed on Florinel Coman, who has reached the milestone of 8 goals in the last 10 games for FCSB.

Perhaps in the best shape of his career, Coman left the field injured in the 19th minute, being replaced by Miculescu.

Shortly after, the equalizer would come for the Sepsi team, Roland Varga beating Târnovanu from Alimi’s pass.

Until the break, however, the substitute David Miculescu gave Charalambous’ students the advantage again, the striker also scoring his first goal in the Superliga play-off.

In the second half, Tavi Popescu wasted another good chance by which FCSB could have separated from the opponents.

20 minutes before the end of regular time, a wrong exit from Târnovanu between the posts gave Sepsi the chance to restore equality again, Florin Ștefan having to fulfill a simple formality after the blunder in the defense of the leader.

At the end of the game, Kallaku and Ciobotariu missed great opportunities for Sepsi.

If Craiova University loses the duel in stage 6 with CFR Cluj on Thursday (April 25), FCSB becomes mathematically the Superliga champion this season.
