CFR Cluj has a chance to strike another strong blow on the transfer market.
With 13 goals and 6 assists in the current season of the Romanian Super League, Philip Otele is attracting big names from European football.
After Brighton were interested in his services, and the management of the Gruia club also rejected an offer from Trabzonspor, now it is the turn of Napoli to take an interest in the 24-year-old player.
Brentford and Club Brugge are also monitoring the situation of the footballer, currently rated at 1.5 million euros, and are preparing offers for the summer.
Neluțu Varga, the owner of CFR Cluj, said since the winter that Otele will leave Gruia only for a minimum of 4 million euros.
Otele also played for Wolvinston and Zalgiris in his career, and in January 2022 he was transferred for free by UTA Arad.
In the Aradenian shirt, he made 58 appearances, scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists.
