Dan Ciotoi went through hard times at the beginning of the year, after he arrived at the hospital due to terrible pain. After some tests, the doctors told the artist that he had colon cancer and immediately put him in the operating room. After months of suffering, the party singer has revealed that he has beaten the disease.
“The doctors cut off that 12-centimeter piece of my intestine, where the tumor was, because the disease had not spread, and threw it in the trash. So, the cancer is now in the basket, I got rid of it for good, I was lucky to have good doctors, whom I want to thank for saving my life”, said Dan Ciotoi in the press.

The lead singer of the band Generic also revealed that throughout this period he had even considered making his will. Dan Ciotoi says that half of the fortune would have gone to his son, and the other would have been divided between the grandchildren.
In the end, the result was a good one, long awaited by the doctors, but especially by Dan Ciotoi and his family. Happy that he got rid of the great trouble that was upon him, the artist humorously told him how ‘cancer is in the trash can now’.
