Meghan Markle, rejected by Spotify. When will the new podcast be released?

--

Producers at the American company Lemonada Media are delaying the big release of Meghan Markle. They don’t want her Netflix show to “overshadow” the podcast project.

Meghan Markle will have to delay the launch of her podcast

The Duchess of Sussex signed on in February with the company, which aims to help her develop and host a new series, as well as relaunch her Spotify original podcast, Archetypes.

However, Lemonada Media is said to be concerned about “scheduling conflicts” between launching its podcasts and Meghan’s lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

A source in California told the Daily Mail:

“Relaunch of Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast delayed until 2025”.

After the sudden end of her Spotify contract, she expressed her excitement to return to the podcast

Guests who have appeared on Archetypes, Meghan’s Spotify podcast which launched in 2021, include Mariah Carey and tennis legend Serena Williams. However, her enthusiasm was cut short after only 12 episodes:

“I am proud to share that I am now joining the brilliant team at Lemonada. I want to continue my love of podcasting,” Meghan Markle said.

Hours after the end of Meghan and Harry’s Spotify contract was announced, Spotify’s head of podcast innovation, Bill Simmons, took aim at both Prince Harry and Meghan. He called them “crooks”.

The new deal with Lemonade is part of a new era for the couple, who continue to launch new business ideas

Confirming Meghan Markle’s new TV show, Netflix said it would “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertainment and friendship”.

The Duchess of Sussex is attempting a comeback this year with the launch of lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

The move was criticized by some fans. They wonder if Meghan is familiar with the topics she will discuss. Despite some experts’ skepticism about the new project, it has the potential to bring him millions of dollars.
