Romania played the final at EURO 2018
The previous European Championship took place in August 2018, in Kyiv, Ukraine, where Romania played the final against the Czech Republic (lost 1-4).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our national team did not participate in a final tournament in October 2019, at the World Championships, in Perth (Australia). There, Romania ranked 3rd, being the best ranked European national team, the first two places going to Mexico and Brazil.
In total, 24 teams participate in this tenth edition of the European Mini-Football Championship, divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each. The top two finishers in each group, as well as the top four teams in third place, will qualify for the round of 16.
