A 34-year-old man from Bumbești-Jiu, Gorj, was detained for committing the crimes of perjury and instigation, related to false declarations.
The man in question made false statements in relation to a traffic incident in which he was involved on a previous date and instigated another person to make untrue statements about the same incident.
The police have drawn up a criminal case for committing the crimes of perjury and incitement, related to false statements. The man was detained for 24 hours, being placed in the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of the Gorj County Police Inspectorate.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Letters and Social Sciences and a master’s degree in Public Administration. In 2000, he started working as a journalist at Gazeta de Sud, and from the next day, articles under his signature began to appear in the newspaper.
