The president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, stated that the formation he leads “is the most European party in Romania”. “I urged the young people to believe in European Romania and to continue campaigning for our country to take advantage of our membership in the EU and assert itself in European structures”, he said, after a meeting with representatives of PES Activists Romania .
“The Social Democratic Party is the most European party in Romania and the only one that has within itself a structure responsible for European debates and themes,” claimed Marcel Ciolacu, Thursday evening, in a post on Facebook.
He added that he urges young people “to believe in European Romania”, according to News.ro.
“I met today with almost 200 of our members interested in European issues, from PES activists Romania, many of them young, and I was happy to see their enthusiasm and desire to work together to make our country stronger in the European Union. I urged the young people to believe in European Romania and to continue campaigning for our country to take advantage of our membership in the EU and assert itself in the European structures”, said the PSD leader.
