The liberal candidate for Valea Mare Mayor’s Office in Olt, Dan Gheorghe, confused the main Christian holidays by talking about the “Nativity of the Lord” in the message sent to his citizens on Easter Night, reports Specialarad.ro
The candidate for mayor tried to impress through a video message, filmed on a sofa, with a lighted candle in front of him and a basket of painted eggs next to him. But it didn’t turn out the way he wanted… he expressed wishes for Christmas instead of Easter.
“It is Resurrection Night, the most important celebration of Christianity! May the Holy Light, symbol of the victory of good over evil and the Birth of Jesus Christ, flood your home and bring you only harmony, happiness and much love. May you have a clean soul, a healthy body and spend wonderful moments with your loved ones. May all that is bad perish from our lives, and may the good unite us, make us fairer and more attentive to the needs of others. I wish you health and a Happy Easter! (…)”, transmitted Dan Gheorghe.
Dan Gheorghe is not on his first political adventure in PNL, previously he was part of USR, even being president of the Slatina municipal organization, reports the quoted source.
