Hydrologists announce a yellow flood code on rivers in nine counties, until Friday morning.

“During this morning, the specialists of the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management instituted the Yellow Code for rivers in nine counties of the country, valid starting today, from 12:00, until tomorrow, May 10, at 8:00 a.m.: 00”, transmitted, on Thursday, INGHA.

Thus, it is possible to exceed the attention quotas on the rivers in the counties: Bihor, Cluj, Hunedoara, Arad, Alba, Sibiu, Caraş Severin, Timiş and Vâlcea, in the hydrographic basins: Someşul Mic, Crişul Negru, Crişul Alb, Mureş, Bega, Timiş, Bârzava, Caraş, Nera and Olt.

“The Hydrological Warning mainly concerns the phenomena of important leaks on slopes, torrents and streams, rapid floods on small rivers, with possible local flooding effects, which can occur with greater probability and intensity on some small rivers in Hunedoara and Caraş Severin counties “, the quoted source said.

Meteorologists announce code yellow for quantitatively significant rains and atmospheric instability, for several counties. The specialists also state that the weather continues to cool.
