,,Based on the delegation from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Argeș Court, the Public Relations Department of the Argeș County Police Inspectorate is empowered to transmit the following:
On the 2nd of May, the police from Argeș were notified, through the National Single Emergency Call Service 112, regarding a conflict situation, due to alcohol consumption, in the radius of the Coșești commune, between a 70-year-old man and a member of his family, 22 years old.
The policemen from the Stâlpeni Rural Police Department intervened on the scene, for the first measures, as well as a medical team, which treated the 70-year-old man.
Shortly after, the person died.
The operative team headed by a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Argeș Court went to the scene, in the case being prepared a criminal file regarding the commission of the crime of domestic violence in the form of blows causing death.
The prosecutor of the case, together with the policemen from the Argeș Criminal Investigation Service, conducts criminal investigation activities to establish the exact circumstances in which the person’s death occurred, and depending on their results, the necessary legal measures will be ordered.”
