The Ilfov police detained, for 24 hours, two men, aged 41 and 30, in a criminal case in which investigations are being carried out for beating or other violence, illegal deprivation of liberty, blackmail and qualified robbery.
According to IPJ Ilfov, on April 8, “while he was in the yard of a building in the Chiajna commune, the 41-year-old man allegedly repeatedly hit a 21-year-old man with his fists and feet, as well as with an object blunt (club), made available by the 30-year-old man”.
Later, the 2 men forced the victim into the building located at that address, adds the quoted source.
Trapped in the building, the 21-year-old man was hit by the 41-year-old man, and the 30-year-old man would have positioned himself in front of the door of the house, to prevent a possible attempt by the injured person to escape from the building, the police report.
“The injured person would have been made unable to move and act according to his will, in a context in which the 2 men would have deprived him of the car key and the two mobile phones in his possession,” IPJ Ilfov said.
On Wednesday, the police made three searches at three addresses in the town of Chiajna, and on Thursday, the two men will be presented to the case prosecutor with proposals regarding preventive measures.
