Horrifying suicide in Neamt. A resident of Iesa threw himself from a bridge in front of a speeding train

In Neamţ county, several cases of suicide that happened this year struck by the way in which the victims chose to end their days. In some situations, the reason for the extreme gesture will remain a mystery.

A railway accident took place on the morning of May 4, 2024. At 05:20, the policemen from the Neamţ County Transport Office and the staff from the Ambulance Service were notified that a person was caught by the train’s train, the unwanted incident happening in the town of Săbăoani.

“Following the preliminary investigations carried out by the police, it turned out that the Regio train, which was traveling on the Bacău – Iași route, allegedly injured a 60-year-old man from Iaşi county, under conditions that will be established during the investigations”, sent inspector Ramona Ciofu, spokesperson of the Neamţ Police.

The medical crew arrived at the place where the unwanted railway accident happened and found that nothing could be done for the victim, who died on the spot. From the first data of the investigation, it emerged that the man from Iesa jumped from a bridge over the railway at the exact moment when the train was approaching.

An equally sinister event took place in Roman, on April 9, 2024. A 56-year-old man, after consuming alcohol, came home but found the door closed. He caused a scandal, and his wife, out of fear, did not open it. He would discover him, in a few hours, hanging from the access ladder in the attic of the building, which is in close proximity to the door of the apartment.

Another case around which a mystery is hovering happened on March 18, 2024. Bogdan Mihalache, 39 years old, principal chief agent at the Road Bureau of the Romanian Police ended his days by shooting himself in the head. That day he was on duty in the 1st shift, and at one point he left the office, telling his colleagues that he wanted to get something to eat.

At the end of the shift, because he did not hand over the weapon and did not answer the phone, a crew was sent to his residence. The door of the house was opened by the wife, and the body was discovered in the bathroom. Those who knew him said that the gesture is inexplicable, because he was conscientious, had no problems in his professional activity or in his family.
