At the level of the drinking water distribution system in Constanța county, works will be carried out to connect the new pipes to the existing network in the localities of Lazu, Agigea, Techirghiol and Eforie Nord.
To carry out these operations, RAJA SA will interrupt the supply of drinking water for 38 hours, between May 14, 2024, 00:00 and May 15, 2024, 2:00 p.m.
Consumers in the localities of Lazu, Agigea and Eforie Nord will be affected by the lack of water.
The investment is part of CL8 – “Rehabilitation of main pipeline in Eforie Nord, rehabilitation and expansion of distribution and sewerage networks as well as discharge pipes in the localities of Eforie Nord, Agigea and Techirghiol, Constanța county” in the amount of approximately 32 million lei and CL41 -“Water sources, reservoirs, pumping station, chlorination station, rehabilitation of Eforie Nord Water Company, chlorination station and installation of pumping group for the town of Agigea. Rehabilitation of adduction pipelines GA Constanța-Sud-Lazu-Agigea-GA Eforie Nord. Rehabilitation of adduction pipelines GA Eforie Nord-Agigea” in the amount of approximately 77 million lei, carried out through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM).
In order to reduce the execution time of the intervention, taking into account the complexity of the works, the RAJA teams started the preparatory activities more than two weeks ago, so that everything takes place in operative time.
RAJA apologizes for the inconvenience caused to the subscribers, who we assure that the builder’s teams will do their best to complete the work and resume drinking water supply at the earliest.
At the same time, it asks all users affected by these interventions to ensure the minimum reserve of water for consumption and domestic use during the period when the water supply will be stopped. The resumption of supply will be carried out gradually, in each affected area.
Taking into account the length of the installation, its diameter, but also the water flow, the resumption of drinking water supply will be carried out progressively in each affected area, as the system will come under pressure and according to the topography of the network.
Raja reminds consumers that investments for the modernization and development of drinking water supply systems are made for their long-term benefit and are aimed at ensuring impeccable services and implicitly increasing the quality of life. Through their implementation, the improvement of the transport and distribution capacity of drinking water, the assurance of the supply flow and water quality, the reduction of losses in the distribution network, the safety and continuity of the provision of services is achieved.
