Two people traveling in a tram from Arad were injured on Wednesday, May 8, after the tram they were in was involved in a collision with another tram. Medical teams and the police arrived at the scene.
The incident between the two trams occurred in the UTA area, on Calea Aurel Vlaicu, and doctors from the Arad County Ambulance Service intervened on the scene.
A woman received medical attention on the spot, and the second victim, a 57-year-old woman, was transported to the Arad County Emergency Clinical Hospital, suffering a head trauma and a shoulder trauma.

“Two trams collided slightly on the same track. One hit the other from behind. Two passengers in the first tram complained of mild headaches. One person was transported to the hospital. A criminal case will probably be opened. The trams have no significant damage from the first findings. Only the body part”, sent the director of the Arad Public Transport Company, Claudiu Godja.
The two trams involved were withdrawn to the depot.
The police have opened a criminal case for culpable bodily harm and are continuing investigations in this case.
