The social-democratic mayor of the Scoarța commune accuses that the liberal Alin Sucea, the PNL candidate for the mayor’s office, “exceeded the limit of common sense” in the pre-campaign.
Ion Stamatoiu states that the candidate of the National Liberal Party for the seat of mayor “started to take it on the plow”, in the sense that he launched a series of criticisms against him on the social media pages.
“One of the counter-candidates has already overcome this pre-campaign, he has overcome his common sense. There is no such thing. I know that the campaigns are dirty, but I have never done it, I have proven it over time. I ran with the former mayor of Scoarța commune, because he lost the elections, he lost, but we remained the same citizens. This time, it seems that one of the counter-candidates, in this case the one from the PNL, has already started to take the plunge. It’s shameful, taking into account that he was also our colleague in Scoarța town hall. He ran away from work, he simply left the Scoarța town hall for no reason, ending up at another institution and now he is thinking that, God, how good it would be to become mayor.
He doesn’t know what it means to be mayor. I wish him good health and remain a candidate and that’s it. He took it for granted through the posts he makes. I will not respond to some people who, from my point of view, have no character. I do my duty until the last day. As the mayor and the team of the Scoarța town hall, I am not ashamed to go to the gate of the citizens of the Scoarța commune. I’ve demonstrated that through the team I lead, I’ve done things I never dreamed of,” says Ion Stamatoiu.
“I don’t think I have crossed the limit of common sense”.
In response, Alin Sucea states that he did not exceed the limit of common sense. The PNL candidate for Scoarța City Hall claims that he only highlighted the shortages in the locality.
“I don’t think I have exceeded the limit of common sense. I made comments regarding the activities in the locality, the shortages that are currently in the locality, and I could list the water from Bobu, which is in a deplorable state, that is, I don’t think it’s potable, it’s black. Activities that are being done, now, on the last hundred meters, which has not been done in the last 8 years, because Mr. Mayor Stamatoiu has 2 active mandates, such as Easter gifts for children, such as interventions in gutters, such as asphalt, although they had money from 2022, which was in the budget and carried over from one year to another to use in the election campaign.
It’s your opinion, I commented civilly, my page and my posts are public. I don’t think I took it for granted and post what I think, what I feel, and I see that I agree with the sentiments of many citizens of Scoarța commune. The campaign will be, from my point of view, civilized. I will only refer to the citizens, I will campaign from door to door, people know me. I have 20 years of administrative experience at the Scoarța town hall, I held the position of legal advisor and secretary, and most people know me. Now the vote is up to you and let’s hope we can make a change. You decide, the citizens have the right to vote and they will decide on June 9″, says the liberal.
