Crimes on the roads! Vaslui police officers are investigating several people

Vaslui police officers are investigating several people who were found the other day, on the public roads of Vaslui county, while violating the legal provisions in force.

On May 5, 2024, at 11:40 p.m., the police officers of the Public Order Bureau, within the Vaslui Municipality Police, on patrol duty on Decebal Street in Vaslui, detected and stopped for control a car, registered in Vaslui County, driven by a young man, aged 20, from Vaslui.

Since the alcoholic breath was emanating, the driver was tested with the breathalyzer, resulting in a value of 0.44 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. Later, he was taken to the Vaslui County Emergency Hospital, for the collection of biological samples, in order to determine the blood alcohol level.

The investigations are continued by the Vaslui police, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vaslui Court, in order to establish and prove the entire criminal activity of the young man, in terms of committing the crime of “driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances”.

On May 5, 2024, at 4:17 p.m., the police officers of the Public Order Bureau, within the Huși Municipality Police, in the exercise of their duties in the municipality of Huși, detected and stopped for control a car, registered in Vaslui County, driven by a man, aged 58, from Huși.

Since the alcoholic breath was emanating, the driver was tested with the breathalyzer, resulting in a value of 1.27 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. Later, he was taken to the Husi Municipal Hospital, where he refused to collect biological samples, in order to determine his blood alcohol level.

The investigations are being continued by the police from Husi, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Husi Court, in order to establish and prove the entire criminal activity of the man, in terms of committing the crime of “refusing or evading the taking of biological samples”.

On May 6, 2024, at 8:55 p.m., the policemen of the Road Bureau and the Public Order Bureau, within the Vaslui Municipality Police, while exercising their duties on Paiu Street in Vaslui, detected and stopped for control a car, registered in Vaslui County , led by a 17-year-old woman from Lipovăț commune, Vaslui county.

Proceeding to carry out checks, the police established that the young woman does not hold a driving license for any category of vehicle, issued by the Romanian authorities or by another state.

The investigations are continued by the Vaslui police, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vaslui Court, in order to establish and prove the entire criminal activity of the young woman, under the aspect of committing the crime of “driving a vehicle without a driver’s license”.

On May 7, 2024, at 04:09 a.m., the policemen of the Negresti Rural Police Section 6, within the Negresti City Police, while exercising their duties in the town of Draxeni, Rebricea com, Vaslui county, detected and stopped for control a car, registered in Vaslui county, led by a 39-year-old man from Rebricea commune.

Since the alcoholic breath was emanating, the driver was tested with the breathalyzer, resulting in a value of 0.66 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. Later, he was taken to the Vaslui County Emergency Hospital, where he refused to take biological samples, in order to determine his blood alcohol level.

The investigations are continued by the police, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vaslui District Court, in order to establish and prove the entire criminal activity of the man, under the aspect of committing the crime of “refusing or evading the taking of biological samples”.
