Summer will make its presence felt in Dâmbovița with the exceptional events that have already become a tradition: “County Days”. This cultural, artistic, entertainment and sports marathon that will catch all the communities of Dâmboviţa in the spirit of the celebration has this year reached its third consecutive edition.

The organizers – the Dâmbovița County Council, the “Curtea Domnească” National Museum Complex, the “Ion Heliade Rădulescu” County Library and the County Culture Center – want to offer all citizens of these lands, but also tourists, those who will be during the tumult of the holiday in the territory Dâmbovița county, a few days in which tradition, history, art, music and sport will come together pleasantly, radiating physical and spiritual harmony, relaxation and good mood.

The President of the Dâmbovița County Council, Corneliu Ștefan, the initiator of these demonstrations, said that he structured the events in such a way that interpretations and connotations of an electoral nature would not appear at all, taking into account the fact that this year the electoral campaign for the local and European parliamentary elections and the electoral ballot will be consumed in about the same interval as the “Days of Dâmbovița County”. Corneliu Ștefan specified that, in order to avoid discussions and possible conflicts of an electoral nature, he established together with the other partners that the shows, where famous artists were invited to perform on stage and will certainly gather thousands of spectators, should take place in between June 11-13.

“Dâmbovița County Days promise to be a celebration of local communities, a celebration of all Dâmbovița residents. By organizing these days, our primary intention is to promote Dâmbovița county, to draw attention to the cultural, historical and traditional resources and potential that we possess. Through these events, we also want to strengthen the ties between our communities. “Dâmbovița County Days” also represents a thank you to all those who left their mark on the evolution of this county on all levels. At the same time, we offer the people of Dâmboviţa the opportunity to be proud of the cultural and spiritual heritage, with the people who successfully represent our county”, stated the president Corneliu Ștefan.

Throughout the period of the “County Days”, the people of Dâmbovița and all others who tread our lands, between May 31 and June 13, will be able to visit for free all the cultural and historical sites under the tutelage of the “Curtea Domnească” National Museum Complex in bargain

On June 4, the festive meeting of the County Council will take place in the historic setting of the Brâncovenesc Palace in Potlogi. The climax of the “Days of Dâmbovița County” will be reached on June 11-13, when concerts by famous artists will take place on the specially arranged stage in the premises of the Royal Court, in the shadow of the old Chindiei Tower.

On June 11, starting at 7:00 p.m., music-loving audiences will be able to watch the evolution of world-renowned bands No Mercy and Bony M. Xperience.

Wednesday – June 12, Liviu Teodorescu & Band, Andia and Delia will take the stage, also from 19:00. The end of the evening will belong to DJ Vali Bărbulescu.

Thursday – June 13, the melodious chords of the bands “3 Sud Est and The Motans” will resound on the stage of “Dâmbovița County Days”.

The two weeks of celebration will end with a superb laser and fireworks show.
