The festival, which includes dog parades, horse riding demonstrations, exhibitions of exotic birds, rabbits, contests with prizes, veterinary consulting, a training and agility show, but also a visit to the equestrian base, is scheduled for May 18 and 19, at the USV Iași Stadium.
Animal lovers, invited to “Animal Fest by USV Iași”
The event will officially start on Saturday, May 18, starting at 10:00 a.m., with the official opening scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Then, a demonstration of dog training with chinotechnic teams of the Iași Border Police and the Botoşani County Police Inspectorate.
Furthermore, visitors will be able to witness several exhibitions (exhibition of ornamental birds and small animals; exhibition of farm animals; exhibition of reptiles and insects; exhibition of agricultural machinery, and the adoption fair for dogs “Adoptă from USV Iași “).
Towards the end of the day, there will be a visit to the stands of the USV Iași Faculties; visiting the Museum of Anatomy “Prof. Dr. HC Vasile Coțofan”, of the Clinical Hospital for Companion Animals and the Equestrian Base within USV Iași; fair of agro-food products.
The program for the second day of the festival
On Sunday, May 19, starting at the same time, there will be a horse dressage progression, a feline salon; a reptile and insect exhibit; an exhibition of ornamental birds and small animals. The Museum of Anatomy “Prof. Dr. HC Vasile Coțofan”, of the Clinical Hospital for Companion Animals and the Equestrian Base within USV Iași.
Next, the exhibitions of agricultural machinery, farm animals (cows, sheep, goats), and the fair of agri-food products will be available.
The festival will end with a first aid course entitled “Pet first aid” (11:00 a.m., in the Tennis Hall), where participation is based on registration: [email protected]).
