The general mayor of the capital, Nicuşor Dan, announces, on Tuesday, the integration of another eight new intersections into the traffic management system. Currently, 265 intersections in the Capital are included in the intelligent traffic light system.
“We integrated eight new intersections into the traffic management system. The City Hall of the Capital, through the Bucharest Streets Administration, has completed the modernization and integration into BTMS for the traffic lights on the Bd. Camil Ressu – Bd. Theodor Pallady axis, they were put into operation last week,” Nicuşor Dan reports.
He specifies that it is about the intersections between Bd. Camil Ressu and Şoseaua Mihai Bravu, St. Dristoluru, St. Liviu Rebreanu, St. Fizicienilor, Bd. Nicolae Grigorescu and St. Ilioara, as well as the intersections between Bd. Theodor Pallady and Bd. December 1, 1918 and Jean Steriadi Street.
“Currently, we have 265 intersections in the Capital included in the intelligent traffic light system, and their number will increase significantly as we expand the project of integrating new intersections into BTMS”, concludes the general mayor.
