A man from Orlea commune, Olt county, was detained by the police on Tuesday, being investigated for aggravated rape and aggravated robbery.
According to IPJ Olt, yesterday, the police in Corabia were alerted, by calling 112, by a 40-year-old woman from Orlea commune, Olt county, regarding the fact that she was the victim of the crime of rape.
From the first checks, it was established that a 39-year-old man from the Orlea commune, taking advantage of the victim’s state of vulnerability, would have trespassed into the yard of the woman’s home, threatened her and would have led her into one of the the rooms of the house, where he allegedly had sexual relations with her against her will.
Also, the man allegedly stole 1,350 lei from the woman.
“In the case, the police have drawn up a criminal file under the aspect of committing the crimes of aggravated rape and aggravated robbery, the investigations being continued to document the criminal activity and order legal measures. Following the administered evidence, on May 7 this year, under the supervision of the case prosecutor, from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Corabia Court, a 24-hour detention order was issued on the man’s name, and he was placed in the Detention Center and Preventive Arrest of the Olt County Police Inspectorate“, says IPJ Olt.
