Two deer were rescued by ISU Neamț firefighters on May 6 and May 4. One of the deer had remained captive in the concrete bed of the Cuiejdi stream, and the other had fallen into a water basin (disused) from the Cersanit company in Roman.
ISU Neamt: On 06.05.2024, at 07:45, the firefighters were requested to intervene in the municipality of Piatra-Neamț because there was a deer in the bed of the Cuejdi river (in the Kaufland area).
Forces and means of intervention from the Piatra-Neamț Fire Department were assigned to the place of the request.
Firefighters pulled the deer out of the Cuejdi riverbed, after which they released it into the forest on Mount Cozla.
On 04.05.2024, through a call to 112 at 07:54, the firemen were requested to intervene in Roman municipality on Plopilor street to rescue a deer that fell into a pool of water.
Forces and means of intervention from the Roman Fire Brigade and the Roman SVSU were assigned to the place of the request.
Arriving at the indicated place, the firefighters found that there was a deer in a water basin (disused) in the yard of an economic operator. With the help of specific equipment, the intervention forces acted to remove the animal from the water.
After being removed from the hostile environment, the deer was taken by the members of SVSU Roman and released into the natural environment, on the banks of the Moldova river.
