Approximately 40 traders are present at this year’s edition of the Easter Market in the Cathedral Square. The Easter fair, organized for the first time in the Cathedral Square in Arad, will be open until May 12, Rador Press Agency reports, quoting Radio Timișoara.

“We made this decision to extend the fair, taking into account that the Easter holidays overlapped, this time, with the mini-holiday on May 1, when many of the people of Arada were away from the city. The people I talked to and those who wrote to me said that they want to spend their free time, especially in the evenings, in the new Cathedral Square, in the framework of artistic, thematic events. So, their wish is listened to, and we will prepare more and more diversified events in this superb area in the middle of the city”, says the mayor of Arad, Călin Bibarț.

The operating hours will be daily, between 12:00 and 23:00.

The fair is structured in three modules, one where traders sell products specific to the holidays, from handicrafts to gifts and souvenirs, a food area, with traditional products, burgers, langos, cakes, wines and other desserts, and a children’s area with carousel and creative workshops.
