The Easter holidays were very quiet in Dolj. According to the statements made by the representatives of the County Gendarmerie Inspectorate (IJJ) “Mihai Bravul” Dolj, of the Mobile Gendarmerie Group (GJM) “Buzeşti Brothers” Craiova, of the Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) “Oltenia” Dolj and of the Prevention Center , Drug Evaluation and Counseling (CPECA) Craiova, no special events were recorded, being able to speak of the quietest Easter Holidays in recent years.
Last week, crews of IJJ Dolj acted in the county, especially in congested areas, together with representatives of the territorial institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to ensure public order. Thus, more than 250 people were registered, through the eDAC application, 17 contraventions were found, for which eight fines were applied, in the amount of 2,700 lei, and nine warnings, to which was added a criminal offense with an author. Also, in the same period, GJM Craiova intervened with over 300 gendarmes, who were on duty, applying 90 contraventional sanctions, in the total amount of 27,600 lei, the main acts sanctioned being the consumption of alcohol in public places. Also, five crimes were found under Law no. 143/2000 on the prevention and combating of illicit drug trafficking and consumption. ISU Dolj carried out 140 missions, 114 of which were for providing first aid to people with medical conditions. At the same time, six fires were located and extinguished, which resulted in material damage and one person poisoned with carbon monoxide. CPECA Craiova counseled 21 people consuming hallucinogenic substances.
